With the mid-70's temperatures this week, we decided to meet up with Ms. Holly and enjoy a day out, and at the same park I used to play at when I was little. We couldn't figure out what to call this sunny spell since the term for Indian Summer wouldn't work in the middle of November but it was just too hot to call it fall.Micah was so happy to run around, medicated of course, but notice the real clothing again! Since we don't get out much, the playground was the best part for the boys. We enjoyed a picnic lunch with the geese surrounding us, and the geese enjoyed eating what Micah left on the ground. Of course no day would be complete without Micah chasing the wild animals. Holly and I collected leaves since the ones in my yard are still green or dead already. Caleb and Micah had other ideas for the leaves, mainly dumping them on each other and throwing them in Ms. Holly's hair.

In our house, we teach the word retaliation.
Can you see the goose that spent lunch time eyeing up Caleb's turkey and cheese?
The perfect ending to this adventure out was that Micah fell asleep on the way home, he hasn't had an official nap in about a year. He even woke up in a decent mood and is now playing with the ladybugs that have sprouted in our house thanks to this warm weather. Oh, yes, that's a whole other selection of photos and story line.
