Caleb and Micah were so excited about it finally raining - its been very hot and dry, so they begged to play outside and it is one of the few times that Micah can play outside without having allergy issues. We played for a while until Gabe came home from a friends house. Gabe joined in until we were all soaked, yes, even Mommy who stood there with a magazine over the camera and her head thinking it would work- umbrellas are for smart people. The highlight for Micah was just to be in the road without getting in trouble and Caleb loved jumping in puddles without get yelled at for either splashing Mommy with mud or getting his church clothes wet. Our church parking lot has some great puddles.
Gabe discovered floating things down the river made by the curb, and the water run off thingy (I don't know what that gross manhole covered thing it called) opened up a whole other round of future exploring. "Where does that go? Can we go in there? Would I get stuck? Is there a ladder to get out? What if we just let Micah crawl in?"
