Caleb is getting ready for the Zoo Parade his class will have in a few weeks. Some how he got a musical gene (it must be from the Hatz side of the family because the Mulroys... well it's bad, too bad to say just how awful, terrible bad it is. Ok, so maybe he did get our singing gene.) and has always been motivated by anything set to music. When Gabe was learning the same zoo phonics, he refused to sing it for us outside of the classroom. With Caleb, he can't stop singing it, and the million other little songs he learns. At the end of the month all the kindergarten classes will get to sing this and dress up as one of the animals. Caleb gets to be Xavier the Fox, just like his big brother was... gee, funny how that worked out. And how could any of us ever forget Gabe as the fox???
This picture is for my Mom, to cheer her up, since she should be coming home from the hospital (again!) today. But I still love having pictures to someday blackmail my children with, it's one of the little pleasures of being a mom.
